Iberis

An ornamental and unpretentious plant, Iberis is a low shrub with a large variety of small flowers. The flowering period is from late spring to July. If you take a photo of a flower, the Iberis photo will look like a beautiful blooming ball. This is an ideal flower to decorate a garden, flower bed, balcony, stonework or alpine hill.

Growing Iberis is not a hassle. The main factors for flower growth are good lighting, sufficient air permeability and moderate watering. Most often, the plant is sown directly into the ground, but it can also be propagated by cuttings. Flowering Iberis is pollinated by insects, so different varieties should be planted at some distance.

Iberism is afraid of damage to the root system by various pathogenic fungi. They affect plant growth and flower wilting. The fight against this disease consists of disinfecting the soil and removing affected shoots. And in the fight against mealyworms, the soil must be treated with an anticoccidal drug.
