Hyacinth

Russian gardeners are trying to do everything to ensure that spring is decorated with luxurious bright flowers. Hyacinths, which bloom in white, blue, yellow and orange, are often used for these purposes. Originally from the Mediterranean, this flower was adapted by Dutch breeders to grow in harsher climates.

The plant loves soil with a large amount of humus, and the increased density of the soil is reduced by adding sand and peat to the soil. Hyacinth is a bulbous plant. To prevent damage to the roots during planting, the hyacinth bulb is placed in prepared soil in advance (2 months). This is done in the fall when the air temperature is about 10 degrees. Experts recommend planting the bulbs in a small layer of sand.

Hyacinths bloom in the garden for only three months, during which nitrogen fertilizers must be added to the soil. Lovers of indoor flowers have the opportunity to grow home hyacinths. An interesting feature of the house flower is that it will bloom at any time of the year if you simulate the right conditions.
