Brugmansia

In the warm countries of Europe, Russian tourists notice a large number of luxurious flowers, which practically do not grow in our country. Luxurious flowers resemble a musical instrument - a trumpet, which is why they received the second name “angel trumpets”.

The plant grows wild in the subtropics of South America. Breeders have developed a large number of cultivated varieties of Brugmansia flowers, but few grow them in Russia. In fact, the plant is quite unpretentious and is used as a tub crop in central Russia. In the summer, Brugmansia is taken outside, and in winter the temperature is maintained at no lower than 6 C, but preferably around 12 C.

To have as many buds and flowers as possible, the plant is placed in a sunny place. In the shade, foliage will grow, and the number of flowers will sharply decrease.
