Why do we need decorative rabbits?
I understand when people in the village raise rabbits for meat and fur. It just doesn’t dawn on me at all when they get decorative rabbits. What good are they? You can’t hold it in your arms, just like you can’t talk to a cat. But they shed and smell very strongly.
Such animals are kept as an outlet. I wouldn't say that you can't pet a rabbit, it's very possible. Only now it will not respond to you with affection, as cats or dogs do. Some people even keep rabbits for prestige; some species are very expensive.
A friend of mine had a decorative rabbit. All the children were crazy about him, and the adults too. He is so cute, fluffy, cuddly. All animals need to be looked after, washed, cleaned, fed, including the rabbit.
I like rabbits - they are so cute, so fluffy. And I don’t agree that they smell bad; if you take care of them and clean their cages on time, you can quite get rid of the unpleasant odor. A person, too, if he doesn’t take care of himself, emits a not very pleasant aroma.
I absolutely agree with you! The same cat needs care - and cleaning the tray regularly is only a small part of caring for the animal. But what kind of pet to get for yourself is a matter of taste. Some even keep pigs at home and walk them on a leash.
We got a decorative rabbit as a gift, but then we gave it away - we were really tired of constantly cleaning up after it (he scattered food and bedding all over the room).
Rabbits are bred from too much time. There is someone to mess with. Personally, I don’t like such animals, whether decorative or ordinary. They are beautiful and you can play with them, but after 30 minutes they get boring. The cat was released and he is on his own, but the rabbit needs supervision.
When I was little, my grandmother kept rabbits, although they were ordinary ones. I, and other children, enjoyed feeding them, watering them, petting them, and talking to them. I don’t remember them smelling particularly disgusting. I think that decorative rabbits are kept, for example, to please a child.
Decorative rabbits are needed purely for beauty, although, to be honest, I don’t understand this. They require care, like all animals. In addition, they often get sick and require paid treatment. We only bred ordinary ones.
I don’t support this fashion. For what? for beauty? what's the point?
I support it, it’s a useless animal, they and non-corrective rabbits are useless, they produce a lot of garbage and little meat
Some people keep a rabbit at home, instead of a hamster, because they like it, at least some variety. What animal has no smell? Hamsters and rats also have a smell, I think whoever holds them knows.
I have a rabbit. He is very tame, no worse than a cat. Only, if a rabbit can be put in a cage and it doesn’t run around the apartment and doesn’t damage the furniture or litter, then you can’t put a cat in a cage. Rabbits, of course, have a smell, I completely agree, but here everything directly depends on care.
