Greenhouses for a better harvest.

We don’t have a lot of space on our site, but it’s very good. I want to build a small greenhouse. Of the compact ones, I found only this one, can anyone recommend another option for a small greenhouse?

Hello, I think you shouldn’t grow a large greenhouse, you can find arches and insert several pieces into the beds, wrapping them with oilcloth will be like in a greenhouse!!! Well, you can make a small greenhouse, I think you also need to make a wooden frame, cover it with oilcloth and voila!!!

You can’t grow tall plants in a greenhouse; in addition, you can walk around in a greenhouse and take care of vegetables when it’s cool outside. The greenhouse can only be opened in the warm part of the day.

I agree with the previous comment, if you are not going to grow vegetables all year round, then you can make a temporary option with your own hands. For example, I took a plastic tube - it bends great (it’s not particularly afraid of frost - you can leave it for the winter), bent it in an arch, installed 3 pieces, dug 15-20 cm into the ground, then covered it with film, pressed the film down with bricks

It’s generally great for cucumbers, then I remove the film, pull the net and the cucumbers weave along it beautifully and take up little space.

We made the greenhouse ourselves at home. First, we plant watermelon seeds, and after we transplant the watermelons into open ground, we plant cucumbers and tomatoes. Very comfortably. The main thing is watering and proper care.

We were also looking for a greenhouse with a small width, and found several options - a regular greenhouse with a width of 2 meters, a polycarbonate greenhouse, or a regular small greenhouse with arcs. A small greenhouse is too small, and a greenhouse is 2 times more expensive than a greenhouse, so we think it might be better to just take two greenhouses - one for cucumbers, for example, the other for greens. well, or a greenhouse for both at once...

here with a width of 2 meters

and here is the greenhouse we chose

For small greenhouses, we would recommend the Novator-Pozim, which costs from 14,000 rubles, or the Novator-Maxi greenhouse, half the price, perfect for cucumbers and herbs.

If the garden is large, then you can make a stationary greenhouse. If it’s small, then you can, like us, put everything under film. It takes up little space, there is no hassle and the costs are minimal. The film can be easily removed or opened slightly to harden the plants.

If space allows, it is really worth installing a glazed greenhouse, since the film often breaks, sag in the rain, and there is a risk of damage to the plants. Plus, air circulation in a greenhouse covered with film is worse than in glass greenhouses.

Greenhouses and hotbeds on a summer cottage

I recommend the book

Greenhouses and greenhouses on a summer cottage "an excellent guide for gardeners on how to set up a greenhouse on a plot

As for me, both greenhouses and greenhouses have their advantages and disadvantages. The greenhouses are portable and you can put them in a different place every year. In addition, they are compact and lightweight. I also have a greenhouse, it’s called a hacienda. Quite durable and practical. The main thing is that it is not film!!!! There is a special covering material there. As for tabletops, I don’t recommend those made from polycarbonate. This is not a reliable material, preferably glass or old windows.

please tell me which material is better to choose for a greenhouse: agrofibre or greenhouse film?

and for those who know about fertilizers...could you use chicken manure as fertilizer?

Tell me, who knows what is the best thing to do: buy a ready-made panic or save money and make it yourself?

who made the greenhouse with their own hands? please tell me if the technology is heavy?

PLEASE SHARE ANYONE WHO HAS A GREENHOUSE MADE OF GLASS))) THANK YOU))))
