Beet
Which varieties are the juiciest, sweetest, and most delicious? I also want it to be not big, but medium in size. Should varieties be selected by region or are there ones that are universal for the entire Russian Federation?

I plant borscht beets and red beets. Borscht is not very tasty when you just boil it, but the borscht it makes is simply superb. I cook regular beets for salads, vinaigrettes, or just like that, we sometimes eat them.
I haven’t planted beets before, but this year I made room for them in the garden bed. I planted regular table beets, I didn’t even remember the name, I just checked with the seller that they were sweet.
I haven’t heard about the region. I like Bordeaux, Egyptian flat and Cylinder, although the latter is not round but cylindrical, but tasty.
I liked the cylindrical beets the most. It is both sweet and juicy, the most important thing is that it grows to medium size, and can be stored for a long time at room temperature and does not fade.
Of all the beet varieties, I really liked the Bordeaux Kharkov variety, although in principle the entire selection line of Bordeaux varieties is very tasty and its fruits are not large.
I also like the Incomparable beet variety, although its pulp is a little compacted, and its preservation is not very good, but it is suitable for canning.
Cylinder is a very good variety, but if the summer is rainy, then it is sweet only at the very beginning of the growing season, and then it still loses its sugar content by 40 percent.
I like Bordeaux 237.I've been planting only this for several years now. It ripens very quickly and is very productive. I don’t like very large beets, so I practically don’t water them.
We have tried many varieties in our garden, but lately we have been planting only cylindrical beets. We liked it for its taste, and it stores well.
I also plant cylindrical beets, that’s what they call “Cylinder”. I like it because it goes deep, not wide, and takes up little space in the garden bed. I also plant Bordeaux - it stores well.
We plant table beets, they are very tasty and have a round shape, slightly flattened on top. We don’t grow large beets; they are mostly of medium size, about the size of a large apple.
