Problem with bedbugs in the country.

Folks, can anyone tell me whether bedbugs freeze in winter or is it better to poison them? Out of stupidity, I bought old furniture from a neighbor a month ago; he was selling the dacha and vacating the premises. But it turned out that in addition to the furniture, the “tenants” had also moved. I’m thinking about throwing away the furniture or leaving it anyway, and the frost in winter will do its job? Or will I still have to poison?

A difficult question, actually. Some say they freeze out, others say that the larvae survive and hatch when it gets warmer. For me, it’s better, safer to poison.

I didn’t check whether I was freezing or not, I immediately bought poison and that was it. I took Zonder for bedbugs, a reliable product, professionally made in Holland. Unlike ours, it kills both insects and larvae. There are three components in the composition, quite a strong poison, it must be diluted well. But, in principle, everything is written in the instructions, how and where to poison. I’ll just add that although it has a smell similar to paint, it dissipates quickly and is safe for animals, if this is important to you
