It's hard to tell if you can't see the flower. There are several varieties of begonia, they can be distinguished by the shape of the leaf and flower. If you have long leaves and flowers in the form of open double leaves, then this is most likely coral begonia. There is ever-blooming and red-leaved begonia. They all have small pink flowers.
I have the same story. I bought a half-dead plant at a sale, and a month later my runner came to life, and is now so densely covered with beautiful, rose-shaped flowers that the leaves are not visible. I’m also struggling with finding the name of the variety.
