Carrot
Every year I planted Nana carrots and they always pleased me with their harvest. Just last year some unimportant carrots grew. Maybe we should change the variety, what do you suggest?

I planted Losinoostrovskaya. Vitamin. I liked it. This year I bought new varieties “Children's Sweetness”, Golden Autumn. Let's see what happens. It is growing and gaining strength.
Sow several bags, including Nanskaya. It is not necessary to change the variety because of one unsuccessful harvest. Maybe the seeds were simply of poor quality, and you immediately write off your favorite.
It doesn't happen year after year. If last year's harvest was not very good, this does not mean that it will be the same next year. The carrot variety matters, but not enough to change it because of one bad harvest.
My dacha neighbors always compare carrots to strawberries...I also remember - if strawberries grow more and more every year, but carrots, on the contrary, do not like the same place! And you chose the most successful variety - no need to change it :)
Nanskaya, Losinoostrovkaya, Vitaminnaya seem to be the most popular varieties. I also grow them exactly. They are somehow already proven and I’m not tempted to experiment with new varieties. You may have a pest infestation. I didn't have a good radish harvest this year because of them.
There could very well be a mis-sort of seeds - I encountered this myself a couple of years ago. When, instead of the usual variety with a rounded tip, spiky “rat tails” grew.
Carrots need to be planted before winter and then the harvest will be good. In addition, it does not need to be planted in the same place. Caring for this root crop is usual - thinning, weeding, watering and fertilizing.
