Small white insects in a pot of Dieffenbachia

I was horrified to discover that small insects were running around in the pot. White, almost transparent. Very mobile. I have never encountered any living creatures on indoor plants. Tell me, what kind of insects are these? Are they dangerous for the flower and for humans? How to get rid of it?

Most likely this is the so-called springtail, which often appears due to abundant watering of the plant. It is very difficult to fight it; as a rule, I just take a new shoot from the flower, plant it again in a new pot and be more careful about watering.

I have the same problem and specifically with Dieffenbachia. I read somewhere that you need to put dry orange peels in a pot. But I didn’t notice any particular effect, apparently I’ll have to use the previous advice.

Usually, when I come across unfamiliar living creatures on flowers, I take several representatives in a jar and go to the flower shop. The consultants there know all these animals by sight and effective ways to combat them. Nowadays there are a lot of remedies, do not rush to throw away the flower, but it is necessary to isolate it from others.

This is an aphid, often found when plants are overwatered. It can be carried in with someone else's plant or in the soil. Not dangerous for humans. You can pour onion infusion over it. It is also recommended to collect the top layer of soil about 1-2 cm, in which the aphids lay larvae and replace it with fresh one.
