I buy “Ideal” fertilizer for my flowers, but just the day before yesterday I threw out another empty jar. In general, fertilizers are not so expensive now, so try buying packages from different manufacturers - see which fertilizer the flowers respond to better.
Please tell me, is this method of fertilization suitable for flowering plants, or only for trees?
You can choose any brand. It’s just that if you are buying fertilizer specifically for flowering plants, then you should pay attention to the ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium on the packaging. If the fertilizer contains more nitrogen, it will promote foliage growth. For flowering plants, a fertilizer with a high phosphorus content is more suitable, which promotes the formation of buds.
In order for a plant to grow green mass, it needs nitrogen. And for flowering you need a high content of potassium and phosphorus. You can use fertilizers "Bud", "Fertika".
There are a lot of mineral fertilizers now. For my blooming violets, I use 15:15:15 fertilizer (this is equal parts nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium). Therefore, take any manufacturer with this mark on the packaging.
I constantly use the same fertilizer, I don’t remember when I bought something else. The flowers are in good condition, blooming and growing well!
Mom said the bud is not bad.
And you know, it’s definitely difficult to advise one thing here, I remember I bought one fertilizer all the time, then I decided to buy it the next year, there was no result, I bought it again in another place, I thought it was a fake, again no result. How is that?
A lot depends on what kind of plants you have. Different types of plants react differently to certain fertilizers. Well, as an example, for home flower plants, with the exception of succulents, phosphate ones are suitable. And so on.
