The herb thyme is just asking to be added to the garden

The herb thyme is a storehouse of beneficial properties, the main of which are soothing and disinfectant.
Thyme herb will be used:
- for bronchitis, catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, pneumonia, colds as an expectorant in the form of a liquid extract or decoction;
- as an analgesic for neuritis and radiculitis;
- for compresses, aromatic baths, lotions;
- as an analgesic and irritant for diseases of muscles, joints and distant nerve trunks;
- as an antiputrefactive, diuretic, diaphoretic, sedative.
Thyme herb collected in the flowering phase will have analgesic, sedative, antispasmodic, wound healing, disinfectant and aromatic effect, perfect for douching and medicinal baths.
Thyme grass can be planted into open ground with seedlings or sowing seeds. The plant develops slowly, so it is better to sow the seeds in March, under a film, lightly sprinkled with river sand on moist soil. Requires moderate watering and fertilizing with mineral fertilizers after cutting the greenery. It grows best on fertile, light, moist and wind-protected soils that are free of weeds and their rhizomes. Thyme is light-loving and grows well in illuminated areas; it can be grown in one place for about four years.
Tea with thyme It turns out unforgettable in taste and smell, brings with it vitality, increases performance, reduces fatigue and anxiety.The polyphenol contained in thyme will help protect the genetic material of the cell from damage.
Essential oil Thyme is used in cosmetology, as it has aromatic, bactericidal, wound-healing, antiseptic effects, which are very necessary for human skin. The oil also helps stop hair loss, helps in the fight against acne, herpes and purulent inflammation.

I didn’t even realize that it was planted as a decorative plant. You can find a lot of it in our forest. I love collecting tea. Next time, I’ll definitely pull out a thyme bush home. Let it grow and please the eye and be useful for tea.
