The European cyclamen is magnificent in the photo

If you look at European cyclamen in the photo, you can see what a beautiful plant this is, especially when it blooms. European cyclamen is an evergreen plant, with fairly large leaves that have a beautiful pattern on their surface. Cyclamen flowers are small, up to only three cm in diameter, light purple with a pinkish tint. Flowering occurs in February March; flowers need to be removed after flowering with a peduncle.
Cyclamen is an unpretentious plant, grows on average 15 years and blooms every year. It should be placed on or near a windowsill, protected from direct sunlight. The soil for the plant should be made up of an equal amount of sand and peat, deciduous, turf and humus soil, and good drainage should also be provided.
In summer, European Cyclamen needs to be watered abundantly. through a pan with water at a temperature 4 degrees lower than room temperature, and after about an hour and a half, pour out excess water from the pan (to prevent rotting of the roots). In winter, watering should be significantly reduced and, if possible, additional light should be given to the plant for three hours.
In spring Cyclamen should be fed and mineral and organic fertilizers, but be careful not to overfertilize with nitrogen, in which case the tuberous roots will rot.
Once every three years, Cyclamen should be carefully replanted in the spring., when there are already several tubers, so as not to damage them, plant them so that the tubers protrude almost halfway above the ground.
The European cyclamen in the photo cannot convey the fact that its flowers are not only very beautiful, but also fragrant, for which it is revered by many plant lovers. However Cyclamen juice is poisonous – can cause severe irritation to the skin, so you should be careful when caring for it.
Comments
I bought it, but only recently found out about its toxicity. I had to take the flower to work, where it fit perfectly into the interior and is not dangerous to anyone.
