Thunbergia - extremely beautiful and spectacular climbing plant, which came to our apartment from distant tropical forests. Thunbergia in the photo has fairly long shoots (their length can exceed two and sometimes three meters) with fairly large heart-shaped leaves. It is thanks to this pharynx, which closely resembles the pupil of the eye, that this plant is often called Black-Eyed Suzanne.

It is necessary to feed the plant, but not too often, since a plentiful amount of fertilizer contributes to the formation of beautiful lush foliage and extremely rare, small and faded flowers.

Before the onset of cold weather, a pot of thunbergia should be bring it to a cool place for overwintering, after cutting off the shoots. This trick will help preserve the plant in winter and will help it bloom much earlier next year.
