Zinnia
Many gardeners use zinnia, a heat-loving plant with luxurious flowers, to decorate their plots. Thanks to the large number of varieties, zinnia can grow both in containers on balconies and outdoors in flower beds. The flower is quite finicky and requires the gardener to have certain knowledge. You can find out everything you need in this section.
Since seedlings are required to grow the plant, zinnia seeds are planted in peat pots at the very beginning of April. For seed germination, it is necessary to ensure a temperature of 20-25 C. Before planting, the seedlings are hardened off by taking them out onto the balcony in May. Young plants can be transplanted into open ground after frost, since zinnia is very sensitive to low temperatures.
To extend the flowering period, low-growing zinnia flowers are transplanted into a flower pot, watered regularly and kept on a sunny windowsill. In this case, the flowers will delight the owner for several more weeks.
