Liatris

Creating a beautiful garden is impossible without flowers. Luxurious irises, giant daisies, delicate roses and others occupy a place of honor in many gardens and vegetable gardens. But it's also worth thinking about diversity. Liatris is perfect for these purposes; its flower stalks can grow up to approximately two meters in height. The appearance of the plant will depend on the growing conditions of the plant, as well as on its care. You will learn about this in detail in this section.

If we talk about individual nuances of growing, then liatris flowers cannot be called too picky. However, the more well-groomed and loose the soil, the more beautiful the peduncle will be. The growing place should be bright with direct sunlight. If you do not add fertilizer to the soil, the height of the plant may be no more than 60 cm, and the number of flower stalks will sharply decrease.

Liatris flower propagates in two ways: from seeds or by dividing tuber rhizomes. When growing liatris from seeds, flowering should be expected no earlier than two or three years. Then, well-formed tuber rhizomes can be used for propagation.
