Potted cucumbers

Fresh vegetable salads are an important vitamin part of any diet. Everyone knows that vegetables, with the exception of potatoes, are the best side dish for meat. The main ingredients of fresh salads are cucumbers and tomatoes. When grown in the garden, cucumbers require planting in well-fertilized soil, abundant watering and other care procedures. But today you can grow indoor cucumbers, you just need to choose special varieties.

Of course, manure beds like in a vegetable garden cannot be made in the house. Homemade varieties are grown in boxes, buckets or clay pots up to 8 liters in volume. The varieties of indoor cucumbers most suitable for the home are: Regatta, Photon, NK-mini, Stella, Gribovchanka and others. The size of cucumbers can reach up to 10 cm, and the maximum yield is 45 fruits.

To avoid preparing the soil yourself, use store-bought soil “Rose”. Boxes should be installed on window sills on the south or east side. Please note that growing indoor cucumbers requires avoiding sudden temperature changes and drafts. During ventilation, plants should be covered with at least newspaper.
