Therefore, we offer for consideration a number of articles about this interesting representative of the flora with amazing healing properties.
Types of aloe and its features
Various varieties are grown as indoor aloe species, the most familiar to us are tree-like, or agave, and faith, they are the ones that have healing properties.
They are more decorative:
- multileaf
- folded
- squat
- motley
- spinous
- rauhi
There are about 500 species in total; the most popular are agave and aloe vera, each such flower is a whole green pharmacy.
The plants have significant differences in appearance:
- faith grows like a bush
- Agave - has a tree-like structure
What both species have in common are fleshy, long leaves, because the plants are succulents; they tend to accumulate liquid inside the leaves and, in case of severe drought, use it to support life.
Tree aloe can thank its owners for high-quality care by flowering; unfortunately, it is observed extremely rarely.

How to grow aloe from a shoot and cuttings
When planning to grow new specimens, one should not forget about their origin in nature; it grows in arid areas.
Often the attempt ends in failure for the reason that the shoot, leaf or cutting is trying to germinate in water.
In fact, you need to do the opposite, i.e. The planting material is hidden in a dark place for several days - until the place where the cutting or leaf is cut dries out. Then the cutting is deepened 3-4 cm into the soil prepared in the pot. Over time it will take root.
Sometimes gardeners wonder about growing aloe from seeds, but it turns out that it is not so difficult, just purchase them and sow them in accordance with the recommendations, and seedlings will not take long to appear. Then you just need to remember rules of care.
Perhaps you will like this plant so much that you will have to consider growing aloe as a business that brings in a good income.
